I can't believe it has taken this long to get this all written out. Life with three little ones paired with sports and end of school, it is safe to say life has been chaos. Looking through pictures and videos had me feeling that strong pull to have my toes in the sand very soon. More on that soon!
If you know me you know I wasn't meant to be tied down to any one location, I have the deepest desire to travel with my family and see all the wanders of the world. One of the biggest reasons I am LOVING the path life has us on right now is it fills my biggest love language: TRAVEL!
This last April Beachbody sent us on our 4th all expenses paid trip to the beautiful white sandy beaches of Punta Cana!! This was new to us, we have seen many parts of Mexico but heading to the Dominican was definitely a bucket list location and it did not disappoint. I am confident my husband and I said to each other a dozen times a day, this is hands down the best beach we have been on. The water was not only visually appealing but we spent HOURS each day riding the waves on a boogie board, soaking up the sun on the beach, and working up a sweat playing sand volleyball. The Hard Rock, Punta Cana was full of experiences for us.
Lets start with the room, who doesn't love a hot tub in the middle of your room!? A fully stocked liquor cabinet and a beautiful shower that could fit 5 people!! You can check out our room tour below!!
Ok so clearly I loved the beaches but lets be real, my fave part of these trips is they are all ALL INCLUSIVE!! I am a total foodie at heart and this is just my favorite way to travel (especially with kiddos) I love that I can try all sorts of new things without the fear of not eating because I didn't like it!! Breakfast just so happens to be my favorite meal, especially when eating out!! We did a different themed dinner every night. We enjoyed hibachi -- like A LOT!! We didn't have a long wait but were fully entertained while waiting!! The next night we had Brazilian, where you have the colored mats you flip over if you want them to continue or stop bringing the meat. THE GLAZED PINEAPPLE was to die for!!! I could have eaten my weight in that alone. The steak house, oh my goodness. One it was beautiful surroundings and I hands down had the most laughs this night, our waiter was so entertaining and the group we were with provided lots of laughs. Our steaks MELTED in our mouths!! Mexican was so much fun!! I can never deny shrimp tacos (also posted below) the dessert here were amazing too!! I had to literally be forced out because I would have just kept going!! Last but not least was caribbean night -- envision all the fish and specialties of the sea!! I will just touch on the brownie bars that were set up in the halls -- because lets be real I have been craving them ever since!
We had such an amazing time! 5 days all inclusive was just not enough for me, I missed my kids like crazy but I had a hard time leaving these beaches. The trade winds hit a spot in my soul!!! We had nothing but amazing service with greetings anytime we walked in and out of a venue at the resort. Golf cart shuttles were so much fun and the drivers were extremely helpful, accommodating (it's a really big resort), and the carts with music were a big hit!!!
I can not find my photo of the kids pool but it had so many slides, buckets, and play structures. We walked by it daily on our way to the beach and I can't wait to take my kids back there to enjoy it. I also found the best nachos at the kids pool!! Ha, I told you I am a foodie!!
Best way to sum up this trip ... I can NOT wait to get back to Hard Rock PC!
